Surf LifeSaving Clubs

Surf LifeSaving Clubs are one of the most important clubs in Australia. Australian’s love the sun and especially love going to the beach in summer. SLSC’s protect the public whilst at the beach. The lifeguards protect the public by having an eye out on the water at all times and make sure people swim between the famous ‘yellow and red flags’. If a swimmer is in trouble, they should start waving with one arm so a lifesaver can come to rescue them. I will take a look at how some of the different clubs operate in Australia.
